Various stuffed baked potatoes
A good alternative to the classic baked potato is the stuffed baked potato.

- For this, large potatoes are washed with the skin and pre-cooked. In this case, I took mostly solid potatoes and cooked them in the damper. However, I also know the pre-cooking in the oven at 200 degrees top / bottom heat or at 170 degrees circulating air (about 45 minutes) of floury cooking potatoes. The main thing, the potatoes can be well hollow out in Garpunkt.
- Then let the potatoes cool a bit, cut in half and hollow out in the halves. The leftovers can be picked up for leftover food - potato salad for example.
- Now you just fill the halves with ingredients of his choice. I filled each with:
- Feta, tomato, herbs, spring onions and creme fraiche.
- Sautéed bacon cubes, onion-mushroom-herb butter and covered with savory cheese strips.
- Smoked salmon with herbs and dill mustard (suitable for salmon).
- Parmesan cheese and herbs, plus a raw egg size M, would be better still size S. Too much protein I left away - just use as much as fits into the potato purely. For the egg variant, I took a thicker potato half, so fit in an egg.
- Fresh mushrooms with spring onions and cheese.
As usual, I do not specify any special quantities or ingredient presentations in my variants, since everything is right, which fits and tastes in a half of a potato.
The filled potato hulls are put into the oven for about 10 minutes at 200 degrees top / bottom heat (depending on the filling).
The stuffed baked potatoes are served with herb quark and are great for the BBQ time, for a buffet or other occasions. Salad also goes very well with it.
