Wash covers for dog beds

Dogs that move frequently and intensively in water or in wet conditions (snow) form a lot of skin fat. Especially for dogs that have flippers between their toes (retrievers, Newfoundland dogs), water fountains are part of the species-appropriate husbandry. This protection of skin and coat is also deposited at the sleeping place of these dogs.

If you cover it with old sheets or covers, they can actually be washed well. But these cloths are often not really clean, not even with kitchen linen and regular detergent. Means for washing-up machines (in Germany dishwashers) contain more enzymes that dissolve fat; at high temperatures, however, these are destroyed.

So the best solution is to wash covers for dog beds at 60 ° C with means for dishwashers (powder or gel). Incidentally, the sensitive dog's nose are less stressed with intensive detergent scents.
