Advent calendar with a difference without sweets
So that will be my very first tip! For many years now I have been making an advent calendar with 24 questions about the current favorite topic of my children. At the end there is a big "advent calendar gift" instead of 24 little things.
My children, for whom I make the calendar, are now 12 and 16 and still want their "special" calendar.
Of course, it's a bit of a struggle to think through the questions, but both find it great.
For example, the themes Dragon, Harry Potter, Star Wars, etc., you can do everything! There is an answer sheet to fill out.
