Against odors from the deep fryer
If you use a fryer, it soon starts that fats or oils develop an inherent odor, which is still to smell in the kitchen after use, the fat is cooled.
By chance, I have a floor cloth made of microfibers - damp - after switching off over the device, in the hope that it no longer smells like that! Folded great!
When I tried it with a normal kitchen towel, it did not help. Why that's so, I do not know. Just try it.
