All the loves with on the Christmas tree
My birth father died in 1988, and from there I always put his picture of him under the Christmas tree. There were more and more, my grandma, stepfather as my grandfather were already under it. When my mother saw Christmas under the tree in 2002, she said that when I die I have no room left for me. I said: that's alright, then small passport photos come in frames and then I hang them on the tree, so you're always here with us.
In May my mother died and in October my brother died too. 2008 my father in law and 2010 my mother in law. Anyone who comes to us and looks at the tree, is thrilled, because so are all the dead with it.
I had 6 small silver picture frames, but I can not get them anymore. Now I've bought these keychains that you can take pictures of for my in-laws, and that works just as well. Our grandson, 4 years old, who is celebrating with his mother on the 24th and 25th on his own, said to her, "but Mummy, the Christ child has forgotten the pictures, with the grandma they are on the tree".
He also looks for her and thinks it is beautiful.
