Annual book for a common review of the year

In my apartment (we are four of us) we have a kind of common diary. It is in the kitchen all year round, and whenever someone of us feels like it, he writes a few lines about the events of recent times.

The book also contains photos, newspaper articles, entrance tickets and the like. to be glued. Events can be parties, moving in or out of roommates, trips, everyday problems, quarrels, job changes, funny anecdotes and .. and..and, there are no rules. Everyone decides for himself what he thinks worth mentioning. This creates a collaborative yearbook over the year.

Every New Year's Eve day, when the calm before the storm prevails, we sit down over a coffee and look at the book together, read aloud and reminisce. We have a lot of fun with it every time.

Often one has forgotten the events long ago or is amazed at how significant little things appeared in the moment of writing.

Of course, the annual book is not only for shared flats, but also for families and other groups who spend time together throughout the year.

Have fun with it!
