Broccoli and tomato bratwurst casserole with cheese - low carb

For 2 people or 2 days

  • 1 bratwurst (about 80 g -100 g)
  • 250 g broccoli florets
  • 1 good handful of cocktail tomatoes
  • 80 g Havarti or other cheese
  • 80 g Bresso or other herb cream cheese
  • 120 g cream (10% or cream stretched with milk ... at will)
  • garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper (from the mill)


  1. The sausage is sliced ​​and seared in a pan. This works very well without the addition of fat.
  2. Preheat the broccoli florets for 2 minutes with a little water in the microwave, then place them in a casserole dish. Over it the washed cocktail tomatoes are distributed.
  3. When the bratwurst pieces are beautifully brown, the Bresso and the cream are added and everything is mixed together nicely.
  4. Then add the cheese-cream-bratwurst mixture to the broccoli and tomatoes and spread the stripped or diced cheese over it.
  5. Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  6. At 180 - 200 degrees, the casserole is gratinated for 15-20 minutes. (The broccoli should be nice and firm).
