Chinese cabbage rolls filled - healthy and delicious

Originally, the filled Chinese cabbage rolls are intended as a food court, but you can also easily convert the delicious recipe and eat with potatoes, baguette or rice, as a carbohydrate dish. A piece of meat, possibly a meatball or a schnitzel, is also a great option.

Ingredients for two servings

  • 200 g tender Chinese cabbage leaves
  • 200 g small fresh mushrooms, or chanterelles
  • 1 small onion
  • 30 g of bean sprouts
  • 4 tablespoons of cress sprouts
  • 50 g finely diced cheese (at least 55% F. i.
  • 40 g of butter
  • white pepper, salt
  • 100 g of cream
  • just ½ teaspoon vegetable broth powder

preparation

  1. The Chinese cabbage leaves are washed, spotted dry, and spread out-side down, on a large kitchen board, or the work surface. You need a couple of leaves for each roll that you overlap next to each other. You have to prepare 4 Chinese rolls in this way.
  2. The onion is now diced small, the mushrooms washed (possibly cleaned) and then cut leaves. The bean sprouts are washed.
  3. Now heat the half of the butter in a non-stick pan and fry the onion until glassy. For this, the mushrooms and the sprouts are given and steamed for 5 minutes while turning.
  4. Then the whole thing is seasoned with pepper and salt and the cheese mixed in.
  5. The mushroom mixture is placed on the first third of the Chinese cabbage leaves, the leaves carefully rolled up from this side and the edges are lightly beaten, then everything is pinned with a wooden stick.
  6. The rest of the butter is now heated in the pan and the filled rolls are steamed from all sides. Then put a lid on it and allow to stew for another 5 minutes, add the cream, and stir in the vegetable brewing powder.
  7. Cook for another 5 minutes and serve. With baguette, potatoes, or rice, the whole thing becomes a carbohydrate dish. Or enjoy a piece of meat to taste.
  8. The preparation time is about 40 minutes. Per serving it is 440 kcal / 1841kj (only the rolls)
