Chocolate and apple muffins

Here's a recipe for delicious, airy chocolate-apple muffins.

Everyone has the ingredients in the house. For about 16 pieces are needed:

200 g soft butter, 180 g sugar, 4 eggs, 200 g flour, ½ Pa. Baking soda, 1-2 tablespoons cocoa, 2 apples, 2 pe. Vanilla sugar, 2 tablespoons of sliced ​​almonds or oatmeal and about 40 g of chocolate drops.


The preparation is very easy and goes fast:

The oven is preheated to 200 ° C (circulating air: 180 ° C).

Then beat the butter and sugar with the hand mixer until frothy and stir in the eggs. Mix the flour with the baking powder and the cocoa, add the mixture and stir in portions.


Quarter the apples, remove the core and cut into small cubes (I did not peel them), then mix with the vanilla sugar and put it under the dough. Finally, add the sliced ​​almonds or oatmeal and chocolate drops and spread the dough in muffin molds.

They are then baked for about 20 minutes in a preheated oven.

After cooling, they can be decorated as desired with couverture or icing or simply dusted with powdered sugar.
