Christmas punch

Since I found it difficult to reconcile friends and family (Christmas Eve, my boyfriend and I spend a great meal alone, the two Christmas holidays are spent on the family, or at worst I have to work over the holidays) , a few years ago I considered and established the following:

A punch-drinking with the dear friends on 24.12.


In the morning everyone comes to us and we spend a few hours together before everyone leaves to be with the families or anywhere else. For this occasion, there are always two kinds of punch. I would like to give you a variant of it now.

ingredients

  • 1 L of vodka
  • 1 - 1.5 L naturally cloudy apple juice
  • 1 big box of apples
  • 1 bottle of Asti
  • cinnamon
  • 1 large pack of vanilla ice cream (1500 ml)

preparation

  1. Take the apples out of the tin, cut them a little bit smaller and put them in the bowl.
  2. Add vodka and 1 liter of apple juice. Add cinnamon to taste and stir.
  3. Give vanilla ice cream with a spoon "piece by piece" at the top (I still have a rest in the pack) and let melt.
  4. Then pour over the bottle of sparkling wine (be careful, it foams up strongly) and stir again.
  5. If there is too little cinnamon in it, which give in.
  6. If the punch is too strong then you can add more apple juice.

Of course, if desired, the apples can also be put into the vodka overnight.

The whole thing also tastes great when you use the apples and fresh, soft pears.
