Clean copper with paper

Hello, have you always been annoyed when your copper, after cleaning with the usual home remedies, does not look really nice?

I recently had an already tattered book, which I saw lying on the floor at the flea market and wanted to save from futility, a few pages snatched only with usual printing, this crumpled individually, then each other and as a "pad" in the hand and then get to the good piece. It takes some pressure, but the result was better than anything I've ever tasted.

The secret is probably the "old" porous paper with enough recording capacity. Of course, I thought, I do not want to rip my precious antique books. But there are cases, there is such a possibility, without wresting essential legacy from humanity.

Newsprint is not doing so well. The book paper is by far the most successful.

Good luck and a wise choice in the search!
