Continue to use daily newspapers
Who does not know that? There you are a reader of the daily paper and at the end of the week you have a huge stack there, and either you throw it in the bin or you still try to do something with it.
Here are some suggestions for what to do except throw away.
I inherited some tips from my grandmother. And heed it since I have my own household.
Anyone who knows how to use old newspaper for packaging and stowing glasses and Christmas balls should be aware of it.
But I also use it that way
- For example, After rinsing, I wipe my sink with it, use it to polish the windows in the car and in the apartment.
- Also, I take it as knee protection in the garden e.g. when weeding. Here then, but best take a complete edition, because then it is a little softer on the knees.
- Also, I have some lying in the car that I put on the floor mats when my shoes are dirty from the forest walk. Such a daily newspaper can easily bunker in the trunk.
- Wrap my salad in it. He stays fresh longer in the vegetable compartment.
- Peel my potatoes or other vegetables on it, so I have a compostable base right away.
- When my shoes get wet, I bump the paper together and put it in my shoes, so they dry faster.
- In winter, I put off my snow boots on it. There are no salt marks on the floor.
- Have it on the wall cabinets in the kitchen, so they do not fat so much. After 6 weeks it will be changed. And the wiping is not so difficult.
- In the attic I use it in the skylights as "sun protection" So the sun does not shine directly on my objects which are accommodated there.
- Use it as a base for crafting and coloring eggs with the kids, so I do not have to worry about the table taking any damage.
- So put out my storage cupboard, because the cans make ugly scratches. Also in the cupboard. That always gives such stupid scratches and traces.
- Take smaller pieces for the fireplace.
- Use a rolled-up newspaper and put it in my boots, so the shaft stays straight and does not collapse like this and gives no wrinkles.
- Use it to stuff handbags so they stay in shape. (When not in use)
- Use it to fill in gaps in parcels and parcels.
- I made rolls from newspapers, so I can sort out my drawer. for socks.
- Wrap broken glass in it. So no one can hurt themselves by taking away garbage.
- If there is a double position in the mailbox, then it does not sound so hollow when the postman thunders over the letters.
- Have some stripes in the bathroom, in the drawer next to the toilet. So you can wrap well tampons and pads in it and then into the bucket (I used Toipapier for it earlier)
- If there is a layer in the potato box, no dust will crumble. If they are in the trash can at the bottom of the floor, if the bag has a hole, it is easier to clean.
As you can see, a daily newspaper I read is far from being waste paper.
