Do not save WhatsApp photos automatically and save space
Often it is annoying that all photos and videos sent to us via WhatsApp are automatically saved on the smartphone. Often they are unimportant pictures and of course take up space.
Many may not know how it works, but that can be set in WhatsApp and that's how it works.
Android:
- Open WhatsApp and tap the 3 dots in the top right corner.
- Select Settings and go to data usage, where you select under Media Autodownload all data from the mobile traffic, WLAN and roaming automatically downloaded.
- Now you remove all 3 hooks in photos, so that in the future no images are automatically saved.
iPhone:
- Open WhatsApp and go to "Settings" in the lower right corner.
- Now select "Chats" and disable the green box (automatically save received photos and videos to your iPhone's recordings).
