Dust books without effort
Spring cleaning is out, but if the sun shines in the room, the cleaning urge gets a but. A look at the dusty bookshelf let me take the following:
1 large garbage bag in a bucket
1 damp towel
1 hair dryer and a socket
and of course the books.
Place the damp towel on the bottom of the garbage bag - this will bind the dust.
Then you take a book in your hand, so that the pages open down.
Turn on the hair dryer, gentle step, on cold.
The book is held with one hand in the plastic bag, gently blowing the dust out of the pages.
Finished!
When all the books are dedusted, wipe the shelf clean and dry, the books are returned and the towel comes into the washing machine.
