Fast cheese cream sauce

Yesterday there should be noodles with Bolognese sauce, because my daughter (vegetarian) did not want to eat. But then she unexpectedly came to dinner and I had a little problem, because the sauce was just finished with minced meat and tomato paste or passed tomatoes I no longer had in the house.

The noodles without sauce, but with a little butter or similar. she did not want either. Since I had the idea to try something:

I took a cup of whipped cream and heated it in the saucepan, added Scheibletten cheese (3 pieces) and stirred it with a whisk, let it boil down a bit and taste it with spices.


Since it was still a bit liquid, I added some sauce binder (not essential) and finished the sauce.

With roux, cheese and whipped cream I had often prepared sauces - but yesterday I had to work spontaneously and only with the existing ingredients (Scheibletten, whipped cream).

For a stopgap it tasted very delicious - as my daughter confirmed!

Surely you can improve the whole or make it different - but I was quite surprised how well the improvisation worked!
