Frozen blood and liver sausages as fresh from the butcher

My daughter gave me to understand, she wanted again with blood and liver sausages with (ka'tofe largest) Bavarian, too German fried potatoes. We also like to eat them, so I bought a lot. Then the "destiny" took its course.

As usual, daughter was not there while eating! What do I do with the remaining sausages? Freeze? Although my mother always said you should not freeze. What else was left to me, even though I had eaten it before, stale, watery and without taste.

Put some water in the pot and wait until it gets a bit warm. Then I gassed the pot and gasified the water. The blood and liver sausages in the pot with the bubbling water, which came then, was unbelievable:

The sausages tasted like fresh from the butcher. I could imagine that you can do this with other sausages.
