Köttbullar in cream sauce

This recipe tastes great, either with pasta, spaetzle or with salt and parsley potatoes. It also goes very well with cranberry compote.
ingredients
- 500 g minced meat (mixed)
- 1 onion
- 200 g cream
- 200 ml of milk
- 500 g mushrooms
- 1 egg
- Salt, pepper, nutmeg, a pinch of paprika
- a little butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- some breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp parsley
preparation
- Cut the onion into small, thin cubes and fry in butter until translucent, remove from the pan and set aside.
- Clean the mushrooms and cut into thin slices and fry in the pan.
- Mix the meat with the egg, the cooled onions, breadcrumbs and parsley and season with the spices.
- Make small dumplings and sauté for a few minutes in another pan from all sides and remove from the pan.
- Dust the grate in the pan with the flour and deglaze with milk and cream, simmer gently (stirring) again with salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste.
- Add mushrooms and meatballs and let simmer for a few minutes.
