Keep paint roller fresh
I like to interrupt my painting work. However, the paint roller must be kept fresh. By chance, I did the following:
I had doctor's latex gloves on for painting. You get the very cheap in the wholesale, hardware store or pharmacy. The hands were nice and clean. So I put the gloves over the left and over the right end of the paint roller. Looked like a liverwurst. The parts are inherently very tight and automatically squeeze out the air. They also close airtight.
One may not believe it, but to my astonishment, the role is still "fresh" even after 5 months.
