"Latschen" filled with buttercream

Slippers or soles filled with butter cream (tastes like puff pastry)

Dough:


  • 150 g soft lard (without spices)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 500g flour
  • 1 tb of deer horn
  • 12 tablespoons boiling water

preparation

  1. Process all ingredients to a dough.
  2. Divide the dough into three parts (it works best).
  3. Then roll out the dough about 0.5 cm thick, with a glass (I take a shot glass to it) cut out circles until all the dough is all.
  4. Then sugar is poured onto a base and the punched out circles rolled out again thinly (only once in length). This is how the pines are made.
  5. Bake at 200 degrees for about 15 minutes (chopstick sample) but they must not be dark
  6. Right slippers look bright.
  7. After cooling, each pair of appropriate, with butter cream together.

The pines taste best one day after completion.

I always have to do twice the amount, as I have many customers who are happy every time I bake dumplings.
