A delicious dessert, fruity with a crunchy streuseldecke, which can be prepared quickly.

Ingredients for 3 to 4 servings

  • 3-4 apples (500-600 g)
  • a little lemon juice
  • 60 g of raw cane sugar
  • some cinnamon
  • Raisins at will
  • 120 g of flour
  • 50 g of pungent oatmeal
  • 1 pck of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 40 g almonds (chopped)
  • 40 g walnuts (chopped)
  • 100 g soft butter
  • powdered sugar

preparation

  1. Soak the raisins (preferably over night) in a little rum or apple juice.
  2. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.
  3. Wash the apples, remove seeds, cut into small pieces and mix with lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon and raisins, then spread on the bottom of the lightly greased fireproof molds.
  4. For the crumble, knead the warm butter with flour, oatmeal, vanilla sugar, 1 pinch of salt, almonds and walnuts first with the dough hook of the hand mixer and then with a fork or with your hands to form dough and form crumbles. Distribute these evenly over the apple pieces.
  5. Place the molds on the middle rail in the preheated oven.
  6. The baking time is 25 to 30 minutes, until the crumbles are golden brown.
  7. The Crumble is best served warm with powdered sugar or with custard, whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Very, very delicious!

Tips

If you prepare the crumbs the day before and put them in the refrigerator overnight, they will be particularly crispy!

Instead of apples, you can also use pears, plums, apricots, peaches, rhubarb or even berries.
