Lemon cake - Lemon Loaf - delicious & easy

I received this recipe from a friend. I was allowed to taste their lemon cake and was thrilled! He had to be baked fast!
As almost always important to me: Again, the preparation is simple and fast and, above all, the result is very delicious!
In the photo you can not see that it is a lemon cake, because I had decorated and dyed it for my daughter's birthday. All the birthday guests - big and small - agreed but that was the best cake at the party.
I did not manage to take any other pictures and snap too fast.
ingredients
- 115 g of butter
- 250 g of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 115 ml of milk
- 365 g of flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- Peel of a lemon Juice of a lemon, possibly also some lemon flavor from the tube
- glaze
- Juice 1 lemon
- Powdered sugar, quantity as needed
preparation
- Stir butter and sugar in a creamy bowl (hand mixer or food processor).
- Add the two eggs and stir until creamy. Add milk, stir.
- Add the flour, baking powder, salt and the grated lemon and stir briefly.
- Grease a suitable shape (eg box shape) with soft butter and dust with flour.
- Bake in the oven at 180-200 degrees for 55-60 minutes. Do a chopstick test if he's through.
- Cake about 5 minutes? let, then get out of shape, on a plate o.ä. give. With a toothpick you make small holes over the whole cake.
- In a small bowl stir the glaze, from the juice of a lemon and so much powdered sugar, that the mass has a good consistency. Not too firm and not too liquid, so that the glaze stays on the cake, but can also penetrate into the small holes.
- Applying the glaze: I applied the glaze 3 times in succession and let it dry again and again.
Finished! Delicious! Result as from a well-known coffee shop :)
tip
Quantity of lemon juice, lemon peel, etc. can of course be changed to taste. I like it when it tastes really nice and lemony.
