An interesting recipe from the Baltic States. These chocolate sweets are called sour cream sweets when they are made without cocoa.

ingredients

  • 1/4 L sweet cream
  • 250 g of sugar
  • 1 tbsp cocoa
  • A pinch of Ceylon cinnamon (or a little pound of vanilla stick)
  • a little butter

preparation

  1. Important is a saucepan, which distributes heat evenly. Add all ingredients and bring to the boil while stirring. The liquid mass foams, so quickly switch down to medium temperature.
  2. Now simmer the candy mass for 30 minutes. Stir well again and again.
  3. Grease a flat plate with butter.
  4. The candy mass is solidified after 30 minutes and now you take the pot from the hot plate and turns off the stove.
  5. Then the mass is beaten vigorously with a hand mixer.
  6. Quickly pour on the buttered plate and smooth with a spoon.
  7. Allow to cool in a cool place.
  8. Carefully cut into pieces with a smooth sharp knife.
