In tea, in desserts or cakes. The daisy sugar gives a very tasty taste and is totally easy to make.

Have since discovered a really great recipe in the net and since I'm already a daisy fan, I had to try the sugar of course the same time. I sweetened my tea with it. The daisies give the sugar a very interesting and delicious note.

You need:

  • 2 handfuls of daisy heads (well washed)
  • about 3/4 cup sugar (brown or white)

How to make the sugar:

  1. I spread the daisies on a baking sheet and let them dry in the oven at 80 degrees for about an hour. But it is very important that you leave the oven door something open. A wooden spoon stuck in between helps a lot. Important that the moisture can escape and the daisy heads can dry well.
  2. After I let them cool down, I put the sugar and the dried flowers together in the blender (I'm sure it'll work well with a hand blender) and mix them well. Already your flower sugar is ready.

Oh yes, who wants, could perhaps mix some coconut flakes with. Tastes also very delicious. In addition, you could also use warm days to dry the heads, so it must not necessarily be turned on the oven.
