Milk cold bowl with berries and fruits for hot summer days

Maybe one or the other remembers this summery light cold dish from childhood. I changed it a bit and made it with berries and fruits and a little whipped cream. It fits very well with the summery temperatures.

ingredients

  • 4 rye buns (can be from the previous day)
  • some sugar
  • 500 ml of coffee
  • 750 ml of milk (1.5%)
  • Fruits and berries as desired (I had, for example, plums, grapes, blueberries and sugar apricots)
  • 200 ml of cream

First, the rye rolls are cut into small cubes, placed in a bowl and sprinkled with a little sugar.

Then you boil ½ liter of coffee and pour it still warm on the rolls cube. The whole leaves then soft and cool. Meanwhile, fruits and berries are washed, pitted and possibly crushed.

Pour ½ liter of warm coffee over the bread rolls. The cubes are then allowed to soak in coffee and allowed to cool.


After about 10 to 15 minutes, pour the cold milk over the bun cubes, let everything pass through a bit and then distribute the cold dish on the plates and then the prepared fruit over it.

Next, you distribute the cold bowl with rolls of bread, the coffee and the milk on the plate and put the prepared fruit on it.

Finally, the cream is beaten and placed on it.

TIP: If you want to, of course, instead of rye bread, as before, like bright buns, white bread or rusks to use.
