Fast - cheap - delicious: Paprika with a filling of hack, bulgur, coriander and feta cheese.
ingredients
- Peppers and if at random also in the house: larger tomatoes such. beefsteak tomatoes
- 3-4 sticks of spring onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 bunch of coriander
- parsley
- feta cheese
- 1 pound of minced meat (preferably beef)
- Spices such as: salt, pepper, paprika, isot (roasted spicy chilli flakes), chilli flakes
- Bulgur or couscous
- Dried tomatoes in oil
- 1 cup broth / boullion
- Parmesan as needed
preparation
- Clean peppers and tomatoes: sliced paprika under the stalk stalk, cut a cap from the tomatoes, scoop out the tomato with the help of a coffee spoon. Lay the lids aside each time.
- In a pan with a little oil (I prefer rapeseed oil) the chopped onions and pressed or finely sliced garlic sweat.
- Then add the minced meat, fry crumbly and add the finely chopped herbs.
- Cook bulgur after packing instructions. (However, I prefer the simpler and energy-saving method.) The night before or some time before cooking, I put Bulgur in plenty of warm broth and within two to three hours it is "cooked" and does not need to be boiled to include this well in the planning).
- Now put the bulgur in the pan and mix well. Season with the spices.
- Fill the hollowed peppers and tomatoes with the pan mixture, squeeze the contents well, crumble a few pieces of fat onto the mixture, close the vegetables with the lids and put them in a baking dish (preferably a muffin dish) lined with baking paper and add about one cup of broth (vegetables). fill up so that the ground is covered.
- If you like it a bit stronger, you can rub Parmesan over the filling.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the stuffed vegetables for about 30 minutes.
- They are ready to eat when they are "shriveled" and roasted in some places.
