Produce lilac oil

Lilac oil is an oil that you can do well, it is also a pain oil. So when the lilac blooms again, then I harvest the lilac blossoms in bloom and in the sun.

That's how it works:

  • Place the harvested flowers on a newspaper and allow to wither inside for two days. Then I get big jars, into which I put the flowers. That is, 3/4 full glass of flowers, and I give either almond oil, which I get from the pharmacy, which is also possible, is olive oil. The problem for many people, however, is the smell of olive oil, especially with flowers in it.
  • So tilt the oil over the flowers until they are covered and let stand 3-4 weeks best in the sun, shake again and again and make sure that no mold has formed, then please stop using the oil!
  • So if you want to smell the lilac, you should use a neutral good oil, if the lilac smell in the oil is not enough, you can buy in the pharmacy lilac scented oil 10 ml bottle.
  • When the whole thing is pulled through, I fill the oil in brown bottles, brown so that it is protected from the sun when it is ready.
  • If you want to give the oil away, I would fill it in a clear bottle and add a brown one for decanting. But as a gift just looks a transparent bottle better.
  • Decorating it with a purple ribbon, a little piece of paper on what the oil is for is always good and I always write down what flowers are and what an oil for allergies. First try on a hidden spot and I always wait 20 minutes and then see how my skin reacts.

The lilac oil is also nice for the bath:

Add 1 tbsp of oil and 3 tbsp of cream to the bath and then relax with a nice music! Skin and soul will thank you.
