Protect outside laundry against showers

Have a balcony on the top floor - without protection from above - that is, in the rain, the half-dry laundry gets wet again.

I already had a space-saving pull-out clothesline (5 lines) on my 1,90 m deep balcony, installed on the narrow side. There is exactly one machine load of laundry on it.

After a rainy summer I had desperately bought a 2 x 2 m large cheap shower curtain, drübergelegt and fixed with clothespins. As long as not constant rain is announced, with me outside dried out in every season.

Since I am single, there are no big laundry mountains and the laundry can be a day longer to dry. Such a shower curtain could also be put on a normal drying rack and fastened with clothespins windproof.
