Quickly remove larger label residues

Today I was looking for a tip on how to remove larger label residue (dope) from a beautiful plastic can. I did not want to try the tip with oil, which I already knew, because today there were larger residues.

Now I signed up for TheFruitAndFlowerBasket for the newsletter today and got the stain primer as a thank you. While browsing, I somehow took the floor? Coffee? true and then I got the idea: Try it with coffee grounds!

Said and done. I had this morning still my coffee pods lying there and thought: I'm trying now just because I knew that you can use coffee grounds for much, but also for label residues?

I then smeared the cold coffee grounds on the? Distribute places and smeared with the filter (certainly you can spread the coffee grounds on a rag, but for my purpose, it was enough). And the lubricating film had been totally removed in a few seconds and my plastic container without scratches or other oil film again really clear and clean.

This morning at TheFruitAndFlowerBasket I read that many people have a problem with these stubborn label adhesives. That's why I thought, I have to tell about my found tip. I always used oil for small labels, but coffee grounds are much better! I do not know if it goes with warm coffee grounds, mine was cold, but I think so.

Please, test it. I am sure that you will be satisfied too.
