Remains Meatloaf

In a single or two-person household, there is usually much left over when buying the standard minced meat packs. Freezing is also not always the truth, moreover, there is not always enough space, in addition there are remnants of rice, potatoes or the like.

After a thunderstorm television night, I have the whole processed as follows, without much effort:

Ingredients:
Remains of raw (!) Minced meat
Rice residues or potato leftovers (potatoes should be stomped first), or a little oatmeal
1 egg
some milk (a shot or so)
Salt, pepper and whatever else you can come up with for seasoning
chopped onion
and everything else that can be found on leftovers to your taste
+ some butter

The preparation of the whole is as easy as it is tasty, at least after a night out. First, pre-heat the oven, 180 ° C top and bottom heat.

Put the hack, egg, milk and grains / potatoes in a bowl, knead the whole thing until it becomes a smooth mass. Add the onion and other leftovers as needed, and mix well again. Season with salt, pepper and whatever else you have. Then form into a loaf and in a casserole dish, a piece of butter on top of it (for the taste) and then off in the oven at top and bottom heat (we have unfortunately no air circulation) to about 180 ° C (as already Mentioned above) until it is nice brown and crispy on the outside and starts to smell.

Then turn off the oven and let it rest for cutting a slice if necessary.
