Remove adhesive residues with WD 40 from window frames

WATCH OUT! I have tried it ONLY plastic frame!

The previous tenant had left us on the white window frame ugly and extremely dry, hard glue from the hangers for the curtains. We really tried everything to remove it but nothing helped!

By chance I came to the conclusion that it works perfectly well with "WD 40" (to be had in every hardware store) - actually it is used to clean the closing mechanisms on windows and doors and make them easier to close again.

Just spray a bit of WD 40 on the splice and let it work for a few minutes and then you can peel it off like chewing gum!

It works best, if you like a small spatula or similar. used and pushed slowly to remove it, otherwise you have the whole swab full of glue.
