Safe writing, despite stretch tendon tear & finger splint

Last week, I suffered a stretch of tendon tear on the middle finger of my right hand. I can now wear the finger rail after stack for 7 weeks.

Since I have a lot of work to do, I came up with this writing aid today. I fixed a light pin to the rail using a Velcro strip. An increase of the hand on a prospectus made writing easier for me. Everyone should try out the optimal position of the fixation and the height of the pad.

I can now write almost as fast as before, without putting too much strain on the finger or having to put up with the shift of the finger in the rail. :)
