Save: unnecessary cleaning agents

Easily save superfluous cleaning agents.

glass cleaner:

I clean my windows, mirrors and glass surfaces of furniture either only with water and microfibre cloths, or with some detergent. Will be clean, streak-free when drying and does not stink of ammonia.

Ceramic glass cleaner:

Dish soap and sponge are sufficient. That the funds create a "protective layer" that maintains the plate is advertising nonsense. Mine is like new after 16 years without protective layer.

Bathroom cleaner / limescale:

I simply dissolve citric acid (which I have to descaling kettle and coffee machine anyway) in water, 2 tablespoons per liter, and add dish soap. You can also take vinegar essence. Is also suitable for the toilet.

Silver polish:

Alufoil, salt and soda do it too, especially if you have many larger parts (silver cutlery).

Marble and furniture polish:

Cooking oil also helps.

Leather balm, shoe polish in various colors, shoe impregnation spray:

See my tip with leather fat.

Full, fine, wool curtain laundry detergents:

I take a color detergent for everything, add 1-2 tbsp soda for white linens and curtains, and I wash wool with shampoo.

Bügelhilfe:

Here is enough tap water. Put in a spray bottle and spray laundry with it.

Parquet and laminate cleaner:

A damp microfibre cloth removes everything but scratches. You save money and especially space! And for all those who think that without all the special cleaners, it would not be hygienically clean: there are a thousand times more germs in humans than in the whole house. That does not matter - because humans have an immune system that copes with it. It must be sterile in the OR, but not in the home.
