Sidewinder's catch

Recipe is enough for 6 glasses

This cocktail died out in the late 80's. Meanwhile, this cocktail has experienced a revival, but also many ingredients have been changed! This recipe is for the "old" Sidewinders catch!

Ingredients:


- about 16 ice cubes
- 3/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 3/4 cup of fresh orange juice
- 3/4 cup club soda
- 3/4 cup Puerto Rican Golden Rum
- 6 tablespoons Jamaican rum
- 6 tablespoons of 86% Demerara rum
- 1/4 cup sugar syrup
- 2 tablespoons of orgeat syrup
- 1 small shrub mint, optionally a thin strip of orange peel

Preparation:

- Crush ice cubes in the blender
- Add all ingredients except the mint (or orange peel) to the blender and mix shortly
- Fill the cocktail in cognac glasses, garnish the glass with mint and serve immediately
