Spelled Vanillekipferl

Since I'm currently trying to feed myself as healthy as possible and yet Hieper on something sweet, I have today made me healthy Vanillekipferl. And they have become so sappy and great that I do not want to deprive you of the recipe!

You need:

  • 300 g spelled wholemeal flour
  • 100 g cane sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 250 g butter
  • 1 packet of bourbon custard
  • powdered sugar
  • Bourbon vanilla sugar

preparation

I kneaded the short crust pastry out of the first 5 ingredients and let it rest for 2 hours in the fridge.

Then I rolled rolls in about 8 mm thickness and cut into 6 cm long strips.


Then form into croissants and place on baking paper in the oven at 190 ° C, for 15 minutes.

When the croissants are ready, mix the icing sugar with the bourbon vanilla sugar and dust it over the still warm cookies or turn them over.

I got 2 1/2 plates full and had to hold back badly while snacking ... otherwise everything brings nothing healthy. Photos follow.
