Stop nasal spray addiction - another option

Since I did not get along well with the seawater nasal spray, I used a different "withdrawal method":

You buy a nasal spray that you can unscrew (for example nasal spray AL). Then when about 1/4 of the content is used up, you unscrew the bottle and filled with water (it is just normal tap water, but you can also buy salt water solution in the pharmacy or take still mineral water).

When the contents of the bottle have then decreased by 1/4, add some water again, etc. This reduces the decongestant very gradually and the nasal mucosa has time to get used to and to cope with the reduced amount.

You will notice: although it takes a bit longer after each dilution (because less active ingredient), but the nose is guaranteed free.

At some point you only spray pure water into your nose and then your head tells you that you can now completely omit the spray.

I have freed myself of this (over a year!) Addiction with this method.
