Vanilla Quark Cake (no baking)

Preliminary: Please use calorie counter right now the small green arrow in the upper left corner of the browser! *G*

ingredients

  • 1 biscuit pie crust
  • 2 quark (20%)
  • 1 packet of cream
  • 1/2 liter of milk
  • 2 custard powder
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • Sugar (to taste, about 50g)
  • 1 small packet of mocha beans
  • 1 packet of gelatine (can of course be omitted if you are hypersensitive to gelatin)

preparation

Make the custard according to recipe, but sometimes use less sugar than stated. The more you get with the vanilla flavor. Add the packet of cream to the milk. Incidentally, it is deliberately used twice the amount of custard powder, as would be necessary for the amount, because then the cream is really firm.

Mix the cooled custard well with the quark. Season with sugar and vanilla sugar. Soak the gelatine in cold water, then warm briefly in a little milk until it has dissolved, then add a dollop of vanilla cream to the gelatin and stir until no more lumps are visible. Then put in the bowl and mix everything properly.

Tilt on the cake bottom and decorate with the mocha beans. Leave at least 9 hours in the fridge before cutting!

Variations with chocolate frosting, tangerines, cherries, etc. or simply cocoa in the cream and just mix gently (for a marbling) are a great change. :)
