Wackelpuddingeier - The Easter surprise
Here's an original but also a little tricky tip for Easter - Wackelpuddingeier!
These can be served either as a "gag" in shell for Easter brunch or without shell as a dessert with custard or the like.
And this is how it works:
- Blow out eggs as usual (if you want to serve the Wackelpuddingeier dish in shell, you should make the effort here just piksen a hole below and shake out the contents, so that the egg still "heal" looks when serving, with a little patience and instinct works but also very well!) And then rinse well with cold water (so that no Eireste get stuck).
- Set the eggs aside to dry.
- In time to prepare the jelly, I always take the well-known pudding powder of Dr. med. O ***** and also different varieties, so I have different colors.
Now it gets a bit tricky:
- Either make a funnel from paper and fill in the pudding or dip the egg into the liquid jello with tongs. The egg must be filled up to the top.
- It is best to place the eggs with the hole in the top of an egg-board and let them cool in the fridge. And finished are the Wackelpuddingeier!
They are a real surprise at the Easter breakfast / brunch. And make a real laugh. The effort is worth it!
