"Wet" combing of head lice - success without chemistry!

Head lice can really hit anyone, but it is important not to panic. The head MUST of course be treated, but if it must be the chemical club is the other question.

The best results are achieved with "wet" combing: For this purpose, a normal conditioner is liberally distributed in the wet hair and then combed out with a Nissenkamm.

The two crucial advantages are:
- The lice are trapped by the slippery flush and can not crawl away and
- it does not hurt at all!

After each comb stroke, rinse off the mud spray on a white terry towel, then you will also see how much infestation is present. Repeat this procedure every three days until about 10-12 days after detection of the infestation.

Turning the whole apartment to the left, washing or freezing all cuddly toys etc. is NOT necessary. The bed and underwear would be washed anyway, or ...

My daughter (long, thick, curly hair) we have been able to treat so well. Luckily, that was three years ago and since then she has been wearing her hair at school.

And to info: lice can NOT fly and also DO NOT jump. The change of the host is also not about caps etc. but ONLY about touching hair. And since girls tend to put their heads together more often than boys, and the lice can hide better in long hair, girls are much more affected than boys.

You can also read all this on the website of www.pediculosis-gesellschaft.de (Society for the Control of Head Lice Infestation).

Incidentally, head lice (in contrast to the so-called. Filzläusen) NO hygiene problem. So if you have VERY clean hair, you have VERY clean head lice!
