A quick apple pie with butter crumble

This delicious apple pie with butter crumble is very quick and easy to prepare and succeed in any case.

Ingredients for a 26 cm springform

For the ground:

  • 130 g butter (room temperature)
  • 120 g of sugar
  • 1 pck of vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 pck of baking soda
  • 200 g of sour cream

For covering:


  • 3 big apples
  • raisins and some rum as you like

For the crumble:

  • 300 g of flour
  • 170 g butter
  • 150 g of sugar

preparation

  1. The raisins are best soaked overnight in the rum.
  2. The oven is heated to 200 degrees upper / lower heat (no circulating air!).
  3. For the dough base, the soft butter with the sugar, vanilla sugar and the eggs with the hand mixer is beaten well foamy.
  4. The flour mixed with the baking powder is sieved and stirred portionwise under the butter-sugar-egg mass.
  5. Now stir in the sour cream, then spread the dough evenly on the bottom of the greased or baking paper lined springform.
  6. The apples are washed, peeled and freed from the core. Then they are cut into thin slices and distributed along with the rum raisins on the dough.
  7. Finally, the crumble ingredients are mixed well, crumbled and spread over the apple layer. Then place the mold on a lower rail in the preheated oven.

The baking time is 25-30 minutes. Then let the finished apple cake with slightly open oven door for about 15 to 20 minutes in the oven to cool before it is released from the mold.

If desired, the cake can be dusted after cooling with powdered sugar and served with a little whipped cream. Good Appetite!
