Bake apple pie in the glass

I would like to show you the individual steps with the help of pictures. I could not imagine anything - apple pie in the glass?

So first I got smart and bought tumblers to bake the cake. Now I like to do that because I always have cake in the house when someone unexpectedly comes to visit. Or as a small souvenir, the other is happy all the more.


Ingredients for the dough

  • Wash, peel, core, quarter and dice 10 apples.
  • Make 250 g of butter liquid
  • 250 g of sugar or powdered sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 500 g wheat flour
  • 1 packet of baking soda
  • 1/8 l of milk
  • 9 tumblers each 420 ml

Preparation of the dough

  1. I take the 250 g of butter and make it liquid.
  2. Then I take the 250 g of sugar and add it to the butter in the baking bowl and I also add the 4 whole eggs.
  3. The whole is stirred creamy with a blender.
  4. On the creamy dough now comes the flour and the packet of baking soda.
  5. The 1/8 L of milk is still in the dough.
  6. I carefully pull the diced apples under the dough.

The tumblers are emptied with a pastry brush and soft butter.

Step 2: Sprinkle jars with bread crumbs

The jars are sprinkled with breadcrumbs after being breaded.

Step 3: Fill the dough into glasses

Then the dough is filled 3/4 full in the jars.

Step 4: Jars come into the oven

Preheat oven to 175 degrees.

Now the dough filled with dough comes into the oven.

It should be noted here: Always without a lid.

If you have filled too much dough in the glasses, it may be that the dough swells up after baking. This is not bad, because with the lid you push the cake back down.

Step 5: Bake cake

Baking time 35 minutes on the second track from below.

Immediately after baking in the oven, close the glasses with the lids, but be careful, hot!

After closing the glasses, I put the glasses in a place protected from drafts and let them cool overnight.

Now a vacuum is created, which ensures that the glasses with the cake last longer.

The next day I carry everything together in my pantry.
