Baked Easter nest of puff pastry with egg heart
A great and simple decoration idea for the Easter breakfast table is this baked easter egg made of puff pastry with egg heart.
ingredients
- 1 packet of puff pastry
- 1 egg
preparation
- Prepare the puff pastry according to instructions, roll out and cut into strips.
- Then place them in grid shape on baking paper and braid.
- Heat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius, whisk together 1 egg and apply with a pastry brush on the puff pastry.
- Bake for 10 minutes, place on a grill to cool.
- Put the remaining egg mixture in the pan in 2 heart shapes and bake.
- Then decorate / decorate and enjoy as you wish.
I baked this Easter basket for the first time today and the nest got a bit big for my taste, fit on a dining plate,? That's why I mentioned something. So if you do that a bit smaller from the beginning, you get 4 parts instead of 2.
