Basic recipe wheat bread / wheat bun

Since there are many delicious recipes, but most are already quite specific and some people are so afraid to try it out, here's a basic recipe.

To make bread / rolls without automatic machine is much easier and faster than you think! And the recipe can be varied as you wish ...


ingredients

(For a small bread in the box shape or so 4 to 5 large rolls)

  • 400 g wheat flour (the normal type 405, dirt cheap)
  • 170 ml of lukewarm water
  • 1 Msp. Salt
  • 1 pck of dry yeast
  • 1 pck of baking soda
  • a little oil or margarine

preparation

  1. Put all but the water in a bowl and mix.
  2. Evenly pour over the water.
  3. Knead with the mixer (dough hook!) On a low to medium level to a uniform dough.
  4. Bread: Put the dough in the greased box and adjust to a similar height.
  5. Buns: Divide the dough by hand into 5 parts and then shape them, then place on baking paper or greased baking sheet.
  6. Easy to cover with a tea towel.
  7. In a warm place (under the heater) let go for an hour (so just stand there and wait an hour).
  8. Take away the tea towel.
  9. Brush the dough with (lukewarm) water.
  10. Bake at 190 ° C in a not (!) Preheated oven - bread 35 minutes, rolls 15 to 20 minutes.
  11. Let cool down. Chomp!

Sounds like a lot, but is totally easy and not even 5 minutes of work. And the whole thing can be varied at will (grains, roasted onions, pieces of ham, herbs, etc. can all with in the dough).

additional Tip

The dough can also go in the fridge overnight, then you have super fresh rolls for breakfast.
