Build a kerosene lamp

A beautiful kerosene lamp can easily be made by yourself.

For this one needs e.g. an empty cleaned sauce bottle. A wick (bought or made from a cotton yarn) some Dekomaterial (silk flowers, napkin technique, gluing technique ...) and of course petroleum.

A small cross is pierced in the middle of the lid from the inside to the outside, which is easily done with a potato peeling knife.

The wick is pulled through this opening. The bottle is pasted or painted on the outside or you can put a few silk flowers in the bottle. Then fill petroleum into the bottle and unscrew the lid with the wick.

Now just wait until the wick has soaked, then you can light the lamp :-)

A nice lighting not only for the garden
