Coconut cake

Ingredients:

Dough:
1 1/2 cups of sugar
2 eggs
2 cups of buttermilk
4 cups of flour
1 1/2 baking powder

Covering:
2 cups of coconut flakes
1 cup of sugar
1 p. Vanilla sugar
additionally 2 cups of cream


My cup holds about 250 ml - you can also use a smaller cup, then the cake is a bit flatter.

From the ingredients stir a dough and put on a greased baking sheet. Mix the coconut flakes, sugar and vanilla sugar and sprinkle on the dough. Bake at 175 degrees for about 20-30 minutes (circulating air). Then pour the 2 cups of cream over the cake slowly and then place the cake in the oven for another 10 minutes.

Another tip: I bake the cake one day before it is eaten. Then the cream can pull wonderfully into the ground again.

Tastes great and leftovers can even be frozen.
