ingredients

For 6 "flowers"

  • 2 rolls of puff pastry from the refrigerated counter
  • 2 thick zucchini
  • 1 pack of smoked salmon
  • salami slices
  • cheese spread
  • 1 pack of herb cream cheese
  • Oil for the pan
  • Salt pepper

preparation

  1. Wash the zucchini, cut into thin slices, season with salt and pepper and fry in oil for a few minutes.
  2. Roll out the first packet of puff pastry and cut horizontally into 3 long strips.
  3. Half of each strip is covered with herb cream cheese from the bottom to the center.
  4. Place the zucchini slices next to each other on the dough so that they are slightly above.
  5. Distribute the smoked salmon on the vegetables.
  6. Beat the bottom of the dough so that a bag is formed and rolled up starting from the narrow side (photo 7).
  7. Stand upright on a grid lined with baking paper and proceed with the other two dough pieces as well.
  8. Prepare the second roll of puff pastry also in this way, here the topping consists of salami slices and processed cheese.
  9. All 6 puff pastry flowers are baked upright in the oven to 200 degrees top and bottom heat for about 20 minutes.

Warm or cold a pleasure that also pleases the eye.

If you want to surprise guests, everything can be prepared well and then later only baked in the oven.
