Puff pastry flowers with salmon-zucchini or salami-cheese filling

These hearty puff pastry flowers are ready to go and are always well received by family, guests and on a buffet!
ingredients
For 6 "flowers"
- 2 rolls of puff pastry from the refrigerated counter
- 2 thick zucchini
- 1 pack of smoked salmon
- salami slices
- cheese spread
- 1 pack of herb cream cheese
- Oil for the pan
- Salt pepper
preparation
- Wash the zucchini, cut into thin slices, season with salt and pepper and fry in oil for a few minutes.
- Roll out the first packet of puff pastry and cut horizontally into 3 long strips.
- Half of each strip is covered with herb cream cheese from the bottom to the center.
- Place the zucchini slices next to each other on the dough so that they are slightly above.
- Distribute the smoked salmon on the vegetables.
- Beat the bottom of the dough so that a bag is formed and rolled up starting from the narrow side (photo 7).
- Stand upright on a grid lined with baking paper and proceed with the other two dough pieces as well.
- Prepare the second roll of puff pastry also in this way, here the topping consists of salami slices and processed cheese.
- All 6 puff pastry flowers are baked upright in the oven to 200 degrees top and bottom heat for about 20 minutes.
Warm or cold a pleasure that also pleases the eye.
If you want to surprise guests, everything can be prepared well and then later only baked in the oven.
