Cook eggs - quickly and cheaply in a saucepan
Many use an egg cooker. But what do you do when you are holidaying in a holiday home and there is no egg cooker? Most of the time the eggs are put in a saucepan, water on it until the eggs are covered, and then off to the stove.
It is faster and cheaper!
Pour eggs into a saucepan, fill with water about 1 cm, and put on the stove. As soon as the water bubbles, which is very fast, turn off the stove! Put the pot on the stove. Set the hourglass to 5 minutes and take it out. So you have waxy eggs! I tried it at home with an egg cooker at the same time, and the eggs in the pot were cooked faster than in the egg cooker!
At first I had hard-boiled eggs. But after some trial and error of the amount of water, it works great now! And if you want hard-boiled eggs, you can leave them a little longer.
It is also important that the lid must remain on the pot.
