A can of pineapple pieces of 500 g total weight / 340 g fruit weight, had long been a lonely existence in my storage shelves and waited for their use. Yesterday then I needed a simple, fast, but delicious dessert and so the can with the pineapple pieces was finally fed to a delicious recovery.

I had all the necessary ingredients for the dessert in the house and so I set about creating this simple but delicious dessert.

Ingredients for 3 to 4 servings

  • 1 can of pineapple pieces, fruit weight 340 g
  • 1 pck of vanilla pudding powder
  • 2 pck vanilla sugar
  • 1 heaped tablespoon of sugar
  • Milk to fill up the juice
  • 200 ml of cream

preparation

  1. Put the pineapple pieces with the juice on a sieve and catch the juice. The fruit pieces I put aside after draining in a bowl to the side.
  2. The collected juice I have filled up with milk to 400 ml. A little of this juice mixture I have retained and mixed with the vanilla sugar and the EL normal sugar, the pudding powder.
  3. The juice-milk mixture is then brought to a boil while stirring, briefly removed from the hot plate and the stirred custard powder is now stirred in. On the cooking surface, the mixture is boiled again and then added to the bowl in which the drained pineapple pieces are already waiting for the pudding. The pudding is mixed again with the fruit pieces and should now cool for a while on room heat.
  4. When this is done, the cream can be beaten very stiff and then it is lifted under the pineapple-vanilla pudding. This is now transferred to pretty serving bowls and can cool in the fridge.
  5. For decoration, I kept a few pieces of pineapple, added them to the puddings and rounded off the decoration with mint leaves.

I hope you enjoy cooking and having a good appetite while eating this delicious and fresh dessert.
