Cooling water is boiling?
If you've ever been like me cooking the cooling water, here's a tip I got from an old pro.
In no case just turn off the engine.
The water is still hot and you can not unscrew the radiator cap without burning your fingers, unless you have potholders or asbestos gloves with you.
You then have to wait forever, until you can take off the lid and pour cold water.
The profit tip:
Start the engine and turn on the heater.
This will send heat to the interior of the car, but because you're already out there anyway, it does not matter.
Now it will not be long before the radiator gets cold and you can touch it and top up with water.
