Dowels in Rigips
When dowelling in rigs you should NOT work with a stone bur in any case! The hole franks out. First with a wood drill as far as it goes; then continue working with a masonry drill if necessary. Select the wood drill a little thinner than the dowel, then carefully insert the dowel flush with a small plastic hammer. Have very good experiences with red general purpose dowels (Delivered 3 letters); make sure that the fixing screws are longer than the dowel, so that it can knot properly. Board thickness or shelf rail with calculate! An 8mm dowel in a wall with a pull down would not burden me with 10-12KG!
