Install the blind without drilling
In order to leave light but no glimpses in my ground floor apartment, I wanted to put a blind in the window niche, but how? The building substance is reluctant to drill and I did not want to "worsen" anything.
So saw from the hardware store saw a square timber on niche dimension, mounted on the brackets and clamped the whole thing in the niche. The cracks left and right, I have with cork slices (obliquely cut from a champagne cork!) Firmly fixed and the thing sits bombproof. I enjoy the sight and no longer need curtains.
